Join us on May 4, 2013 at Twin Falls State Park in Saulsville, WV for our spring mountain bike boot camp. Our spring boot camp has been dubbed the Mike McGraw Memorial MTB Boot Camp in memory of Mike who helped get our organization started. Meet at 11:00 a.m. at the Parking area for the MTB Skills Park.(Turn at the “Ball Field” sign.) Skills clinics will be offered to help you hone your technical trail skills early in the season. Guided rides are offered and riders are grouped on skill level. Beginners are welcome. Helmets are required. Bring your own snacks and water. Hope to see you there!

Bike the Park Day – North Bend State Park

Join us on Saturday, June 30, 2012 for Bike the Park Day at North Bend State Park. We start at 11:00 a.m.. Look for “Bike Event” signs as you enter the park. We’ll have guided rides for all level of riders. Beginer clinics will be offered. Helmets are required. Bring your own snacks and water.

We would like to thank Steve Jones, who helped us get our organization started ten years ago. He continues to support Mountain Biking in his role as Superintendent at North Bend. North Bend has a trail for everyone – great singletrack trails and the Rail Trail are all accessible from the Park. Plan to stay the weekend and enjoy wild and wonderful North Bend State Park!

Arrowhead Trail in Fayetteville, WV!

Join us this weekend, June 16, 2012, at Arrowhead Trail System in Fayetteville, WV.
The ride starts at 11:00 a.m. — Beginners are welcome and helmets are required.
Here’s a google map with directions from Rt 19 to the trailhead.

This will be my first trip to Arrowhead trails and I’m really looking forward to it.
Bring your own drinks and nutrition and join us for a great day on the trail!!

Tire on the Mountain/Bike the Park Day is sponsoring Mountain Bike Boot Camp Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Twin Falls State Park. Meet a 1:00 p.m. at the ballfield (just past the amphitheater. Come on down to southern West Virginia and check out our Cheap Ride Park!! Mike Moore will be our clinician. Improve your technical skills early in the season and make your rides more enjoyable all year! We teach basics for beginners. Learn to glean log rolls, rock gardens, switchbacks, platforms — all around skill development! We have a great time! If you’re a skilled rider, Twin Falls has incredible trails for you. We’ll have group rides for all skill levels. Come join us!

West Virginia is blessed with beautiful terrain . . . . . . perfect for mountain biking. Regardless of your skill level, there’s a trail for you. Whether you are a seasoned mountain biker, or just interested in getting started, we have a ride option for you.

Beginning mountain bikers are welcome at all of our rides and events. We’ll help you with basic skills to get you started and no one gets left behind. Experienced mountain bikers will enjoy honing their skills and riding with others matching or exceeding their skill level.

We sponsor guided rides and skills clinics at West Virginia State Parks and other venues throughout the summer. We don’t race, we just love mountain biking and want to help others learn and enjoy the sport.
